My Story
My Scentsy story goes back to Christmas of 2009 (I believe). I was a collector and lover of those big candles that are not actually called Southern Candles, but were very popular in this Southern girls house!! This is normally one of the gifts my sweet mother-in-law would give me as a part of my Christmas, and who does not look forward to getting a new one, right? Well this year I received a mini warmer with a sand dollar on it, did I mention that I do not live on the beach? Probably not, but let me be clear here, I do not live on or near the beach; therefore nothing in my house is beachy. This type “A” Southern girl needs everything in her house to at least kind of match, and that sand dollar contraption was not going in my living room or kitchen, NO siree!!!
Yes, I was thankful for the gift, but I honestly do not remember how long it took before I found an inconspicuous area to try the scented waxes out, nor do I remember the scent that I was given. Now, let us fast forward to this 29th day of September 2018 and behold, I am joining the Scentsy team and telling my little story!! Woo-Hoo!!! I have purchased numerous warmers and bookoos of scents over the last eight years from my friend, aka my sister-in-law and Scentsy consultant Sondy, and have been so excited about the new cleaning products that I have been sharing them with others.
As an Aesthetician, I feel strongly about suggesting products for someone because they truly have a need for it, regardless of the price; but never because of the price.
Scentsy is like my skin care regimen, but for my senses and my mind. At the end of a long day I can come home and walk into a room that invigorates me or relaxes me. Some even remind me of family get togethers - think fall scents, my fave (other than Blue Grotto - Oh My!!). And my warmers match my decor - Geez, that is a big Win Win for me!!
Now, are you wondering whatever happened to my first and only misfit mini warmer? Well, you will be happy to know that it is still around and used every weekday..... at work...... in the bathroom (I know, I know). But, at this rate it will probably still be around when I finally get a beach house; and that will be one of my Scentsy Goals I set!!!!
Well, this is all I am sharing for now. Thank you so much for taking the time to actually read my story, it may not be earth shattering, but it is mine and I can not wait to help others find the perfect warmers and scents for their home!!!
I am also excited about all of the cleaning line- did I mention I have four grandkids (and another due next year)? The counter clean can take those toddler stains out of clothes like a BOSS!!! And I have never really been a big Luna fan until I tried the washer whiffs; I have since purchased the Laundry Love Bundle in LUNA and LOVE it. My towels and sheets smell so good, and my husband absolutely loves how his clothes smell (did I mention that I am a pro at inhaling oxygen and exhaling sarcasm?). Honestly he better hope they do not come out with the Laundry products in Blue Grotto. Lord help us both if they do as I do not think I will be able to control myself!!!!

Fast forward to 2021 and we recently returned from our first Incentive Trip to Walt Disney World with Scentsy and I’ll just say, that there’s no better way to travel. They truly roll out the red carpet. They also announced the new partnership with Disney as the Fragrance of Walt Disney Resorts while we were there!!! Isn’t that COOL?? It says a lot about this company!! If you go, make sure you notice the scents in Fantasyland and be sure to think of us!! Next years Incentive trip is an Alaskan Cruise, and I plan to be there freezing my tail off!! If you love fragrance and love to earn trips, then lets talk. Tammy
